Wordless Wednesday: How Much Longer Will Winter Last?

Use Grammarly’s grammar check because if it’s better to remain wordless if you have bad grammar.

Winter in Texas is usually a brief period.

While our summers may go on forever (and, if you’ve ever been through August in Texas,  you really will believe they are infinite), winter is usually a minor annoyance. A little bit of sleet. Lots of hopeful talk about snow that rarely pans out. Basically, winter is not much concern.

This year, however, winter seems to have taken hold. Week after week, we continue to have fronts that bring the chance of sleet and ice. While it’s nothing compared to the blizzards in northern states, it’s really not the winter we’re used to here. (We depend on those mild seasons that help us erase the memory of the 110 degree summer days so that we don’t pack up and look for cooler climes.)

So, for this Wordless Wednesday, we’re taking a look back at some of our favorite Texas beach photos and remembering warm walks on the sand!

Irie absolutely LOVES the beach.

She’d happily spend all day walking on the sand.

Tiki doesn’t like to get in the waves but loves walking right at the water’s edge.

We’re already planning our next trip with Irie and Tiki to the beach…once we get past these cold winter days!
