Our dogs are very, very fortunate in that they have some wonderful dog beds. Multiple dog beds including ones we’ve purchased and ones we’ve received as review samples. They have no shortage of plush places to snooze. (And we’re not even counting the couches, beds, and chairs they’re allowed on as well.)
So this week we moved down a futon from Paris’ upstairs office, part of a big office redo that’s now in mid-project. (We’ll post some “after” photos when the office project is complete. We promise not to post a “before” photo. You don’t want to see that scene…trust us…)
The old futon had a large, denim comforter serving as a slipcover. The comforter was on its way out to the clothesline to air out for a while when we got caught up disassembling the futon itself. The comforter was folded and placed in the living room by our still-undecorated tree so we could pick it up on the next trip outside.
In the meantime, everyone else in the house found the comforter within about five minutes. It has now been two days since the comforter was temporarily placed in the living room and it has been occupied by cats, dogs, or a combination thereof ever since!
