Victoria Stilwell, Shorty Rossi To Attend Canine Classic

MEORDOG004-711921-300x225Doggedly devoted viewers of Animal Planet can meet Victoria Stilwell of It’s Me or the Dog fame and Pit Boss star Shorty Rossi when Wanderers’ Rest Humane Society and Hardeko Dog Daze team up for a Canine Classic/Paws for a Cause fundraiser.

Taking place September 29th at Jim Marshall Farms Foundation, attendees and their tail-wagging chums can also:

  • cheer for the pups who will promenade in an adoption parade.
  • find out which canine will be dubbed top dog in a dog show.
  • visit with pet food manufacturers and animal experts
  • win a prize in a raffle
  • purchase a tasty treat at a bake sale.
  • tap your feet to the beat of live music.
  • watch karate, kickboxing and K9 Unit demonstrations.

ShortyProceeds will benefit both Dog Daze pet shop’s Hardeko Helping Paws Pantry, which provides free food and medicine to the pets of those who are facing financial difficulties, and Wanderers Rest Humane Society, which offers comfort and care to more than 1,000 companion animals each year.

Tickets: $5 pre-sale general admission; children age 12 and under get in free

On October 1st, Pit Boss fans and foodies alike will have the opportunity to savor a good meal as well as food for thought while helping to offer a taste of the good life to pets in need at a “Dinner with Shorty” event.

Taking place at Carnegie at the Maplewood Inn, the feast will benefit both Hardeko Helping Paws Pantry and Shorty’s Charities.

Tickets: $35 each or two for $55
