Are you looking for a cleaning product that’s safe to use around pets–that you can use at home or when you travel with your dog? We’re taking a look at plant-based Trinova natural cleaners and how we use them!

A new year. A new start. A clean sweep.
One of my New Year’s resolutions is to use as many natural products as I’m able to use, especially when it comes to pet care both in our home and on the road. I’ve had a good head start on that resolution thanks to TriNova Natural Pet Stain Remover and TriNova Natural Multi-Surface Cleaner, two plant-based products that are safe for pet households.
I’ve been putting both products to the test with our dogs, both on the road and in our home.
On the Road
Last month we headed down to the Texas coast to visit a relative who was in the hospital. We stayed at a dog-friendly hotel–but at an extended stay property where certain rooms were designated for dog visitors. That meant that a lot of dogs had called that room home.
When we checked in, both Tiki and Barli were way, WAY too interested in one corner of the room.
Although I couldn’t see or smell a stain, I suspect that there had been a previous pet accident in that corner–one I was determined we were not going to repeat…
I’d brought TriNova Natural Pet Stain Remover, a stain remover that is designed to eliminate the source of the odor, not masking it. I’d brought the bottle in case of any pet accidents on this trip (the cleanser removes not only urine but feces stains, vomit–even drool).
I hadn’t thought about using the stain remover as a pre-emptive cleaner but gave it a try.
I’d brought the spray bottle but you can also purchase the pet stain remover in a gallon-sized bottle if you’d like to fill a small bottle for pet travel.
I gave the suspicious corner a good spray of the enzyme-based cleanser, which is safe to use around pets and children. After a couple of minutes, I blotted the area with a paper towel. That was it!
I’m happy to say that after I sprayed the invisible (to me!) stain in the corner of the hotel room, both Tiki and Barli ignored it for the remainder of our stay!
Although I’m sure that it had been cleaned with hotel-strength cleaning products designed to keep human guests from smelling the scent of urine, the TriNova Natural Pet Stain Remover did the trick in making sure that our dogs’ sensitive noses could no longer smell the scent of urine.
Along with carpeting, TriNova Natural Pet Stain Remover can be used on hardwood floors, bedding (ours or our pets’), mattresses, laundry–even in and around kennels and litter boxes.
TriNova is setting the Green Standard with their all-natural products; every ingredient is plant-based and listed right on the bottle.
Effective shouldn’t mean unsafe. You love your pets; use a cleaning product you know is SAFE to use around them!
Even the best-trained pets sometimes have an accident; TriNova’s natural pet stain and odor remover eliminates the smell and stain to ensure your pet won’t return to the site of the accident.
The stain remover contains a probiotic bacteria culture as well as essential oils (geranium, eucalyptus, orange, valencia, rosemary, spearmint, bamboo and mentha aquatica).
A big paws up for TriNova Natural Pet Stain Remover–it has earned a permanent spot in our dog travel packing list!
At Home
Of course, not all messes are created by our pets–we have our own fair share of messes to tackle–from streaky mirrors to dirty bathtubs.
TriNova Natural Multi-Surface Cleaner (sold as a set of two 32-ounce bottles with a microfiber cleaning cloth) is created for everyday clean up; the plant-based formula is safe to use around kids and pets.
I’ve used this spray cleaner everywhere–from the bathroom to the kitchen. Right now we’re in the midst of cedar season and our front door gets coated with the fine powder of cedar pollen; I used the cleaner to clean the front door so that we’re not bringing in pollen each time the door opens.
I just love the smell; the cleaner is made with a custom scent of white tea and thyme, providing a fresh, clean smell that’s not perfumey.
As I mentioned, the multi-surface cleaner, like the pet stain remover, is a plant-based product. It contains Water, Diethylene Glycol Mono Ethyl Ether, Akyl Polyglucoside, Fragrance (White Tea Extract, Thyme Essential Oils), Preservative (Geogard ECT: Benzyl Alcohol, Salicylic Acid, Glycerin, and Sorbic Acid).
I love that I’m able to get our house clean and fresh, all while using a green product that is safe to use around our pets. The dogs can stay in the room with me while I clean, and I don’t have to worry about a dog or cat accidentally walking across an area while I’m using the cleaning product.
A big paws up for the TriNova Natural Multi-Surface Cleaner!
