You may very well already be familiar with Purple®, the mattress that’s scientifically designed to keep you comfortable and cool throughout the night. Now Purple has designed a product just for our four-legged family members: the Purple® Pet Bed.
After an incredibly successful Kickstarter campaign (beds started shipping to backers this week), the Purple bed will soon be available on the Purple site–but Tiki and Barli had the chance to get a sneak peek at this new bed!
What makes Purple different?
Although on the outside, the Purple bed may resemble other pet beds, it’s inside that the magic happens. The core of the bed is Purple’s patented Smart Comfort Grid™ which keeps air flowing–keeping your pet cool and pet odors at bay.
With a chewing puppy in the house, I worried what would happen if Barli chewed down to the grid level–but I was glad to learn that the grid (which is made from Hyper-Elastic Polymer®) is non-toxic, hypoallergenic, and vegan.
The no-slip backing keeps the bed in place (although it’s easy for me to slide the pet bed under our bed from on our wood floors every morning):
I was especially interested in the bed for Tiki’s arthritis in her front legs:
Tiki’s loved the bed, and she and Barli take turns on the bed, rotating on and off of our bed and onto their Purple bed. And I’m happy to say that the cover is tough; Barli hasn’t chewed a hole in it!
