The Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire Features Royal Dog Days

By decree of His Majesty, Rovers can unleash their inner Rennie during the Royal Dog Days at The Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire!

For the first eight weekends of the annual 13-weekend sojourn to a 16th century shire both pet parents and their pups can cheer for the contestants in a human chess match, marvel at the skills of magicians and enjoy toe-tapping and tail-wagging Olde World tunes. Fashion-conscious Fidos can even wear fairy wings, don dragon scales or express themselves as elves during the Myths & Legends Weekends’ Dog Days Costume Exhibitions.

A Note about Noise

Renaissance festival entertainment has the reputation for being a bit boisterous at times, and pups who might panic at the sound of gun or cannon fire or the crack of a whip should avoid certain performances. The faire offers a list of particularly loud performances on its website.

The Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire will take place at the Mount Hope Estate, located 2775 Lebanon Road in Manheim, Pennsylvania.
