The Exorcist Helps Linda Blair Worldheart Foundation

Blair
Since its initial release in 1973 The Exorcist has chilled movie audiences to the bone, but on October 18, 2014, a special outdoor screening of the horror classic will warm the hearts of dog devotees.

Fans of fright flicks, famous faces and Fidos are invited to join scream queen Linda Blair as Street Food Cinema scares up some Halloween-themed fun to raise funds for The Linda Blair Worldheart Foundation.

A dog-friendly event taking place on the grounds of the Eagle Rock Recreation Center in Los Angeles, pet parents can chow down on a picnic dinner of tasty treats purchased from a variety of food trucks and listen to some toe-tapping (and tail-wagging) tunes performed by Johnny Lee Young, then sit back with Spot to watch the supernaturally-inspired silver screen hit.

A happening with heart, $3 from each ticket sold will benefit The Linda Blair Worldheart Foundation, which has helped dogs in need since its founding in 2003.

Tickets: Reserved seating $20; general admission $15; children age 6 – 12 $6; children age 5 and under get in for free.

When: October 18, 2014 Doors open at 5:30 p.m.; concert performance 6:30 p.m.; movie starts at 8 p.m.

Where: Eagle Rock Recreation Center at 1100 Eagle Vista Drive in Los Angeles, California
