Surf Dog Competition Helps San Diego Humane Society

D8A11321-900x600 The sand at Imperial Beach was covered in the paw prints of some totally tubular tail-waggers who also made impressions in the hearts of dog devotees as they took part in the 9th annual Surf Dog Competition– an event which combines sport with support for a paws cause.

All of the proceeds from the day of fun in the sun, which also included a dog wash, an off-leash play area for pups, a beginners agility course for canines who wanted to test their athletic abilities, and lots of adorable, adoptable dogs, benefitting the San Diego Humane Society.

Among the panel of judges scoring the skills of the surfing Spots was Surfer Hall of Fame member Taylor Knox, who stated: “As a supporter of animal adoption and a pet parent myself, I’m stoked to be partnering with Unleashed by Petco to support both the surfing community as well as the San Diego Humane Society.”D8A1569-2-900x600
