Pet parents and their pups partied with paparazzi magnets for a paws cause on October 27th at an annual boo bash presented by Bow Wow Beverly Hills to raise both funds for, and awareness of, The Amanda Foundation.
The theme for this year’s Howl-o-ween happening with heart was The Big Bark Theory in honor of the animal-loving star who acted as host for the event, The Big Bang Theory‘s Kaley Cuoco. Offering a generous donation to the rescue organization at the fundraiser to help cover expenses for a dog in need of an operation on his leg, it’s easy to see why the A-list animal advocate was chosen as the recipient of The Amanda Foundation’s “Worthy of love” award.
Other famous friends of Fidos and felines in attendance included movie star Melanie Griffith; long-time Amanda Foundation supporter Kristin Bauer Van Straten from the HBO series True Blood; former Deep Purple and Black Country Communion frontman Glenn Hughes; actress Jade Tailor (True Blood) and actor/pop singer Reggie Benjamin.
The event benefitted The Amanda Foundation, a Beverly Hills-based non-profit established in 1976 which has saved the lives of thousands of dogs and cats who were facing their fate in Los Angeles county kill shelters.
