As fans of Sons of Anarchy get ready for the hit FX show’s final season they can also watch actor Theo Rossi, who portrays SAMCRO Intelligence Officer Juan Carlos “Juice” Ortiz, in his real life role as an animal advocate as he helps to shine a spotlight on the plight of street dogs.
Touched by the need to change the dire situation faced by 300 million dogs around the globe, who must deal with the ever-present threat of danger and death on a daily basis as they fend for themselves on the streets, the TV star (and proud pet parent to three rescue dogs) has partnered with Humane Society International to film a PSA promoting HSI’s Street Dog Defender campaign.
Theo Rossi helped to unveil the new campaign on September 3rd at Pets for Life Center in Los Angeles:

Contributions to the HSI program helps to curb pet overpopulation through spay/neuter services, provides vaccination clinics to help end the threat of rabies, and much more.
The Humane Society International’s Street Dog Defender campaign has also been championed by Kesha, the platinum-selling recording artist with a heart of gold who became HSI’s first global ambassador in 2011.
