Share with fellow dog lovers!

Product:
Pecks™

What It Is: Bite-sized buffalo and blueberry dog treats

Manufacturer: The Honest Kitchen; made in USA

DogTipper Review: Last week we reviewed The Honest Kitchen dehydrated dog foods, made from raw, whole foods. This company also dog treats; like their meals, the treats from The Honest Kitchen are made using human grade ingredients. They offer several kinds of treats: Ice Pups to make frozen treats, Nuzzles (duck and cherry), Wishes (fish treats for dogs and cats), Smooches (chicken and cranberry), and, the treat we received: Pecks.

Pecks is made with:

barley flour, filtered water, molasses, buffalo, organic virgin coconut oil, eggs, blueberries

What is doesn’t contain is just as important. The treat includes NO wheat, corn, soy, rice, beet pulp, added salt, sugar, artificial preservatives, colors, flavors, by-products, fillers, or synthetic ingredients.

Pecks is marketed as a small or toy breed treat but our big (70-pound) dogs absolutely loved it. Actually we prefer these small size treats to use for training. The hand-made treats are about the size of a small marble:

The dogs loved the flavor of Pecks and we loved the great list of ingredients! A big paws up for Pecks!

Price: The 8-ounce box of Pecks retails for $8.50; a 16-ounce size sells for $14.
