Product: Bocce’s Bakery dog treats

What It Is: all-natural, organic dog biscuits

Manufacturer: Bocce’s Bakery in New York City

DogTipper Review: We love giving our dogs treats but we’re always on the lookout for natural and organic treats. When we can, we like to make our own treats but the last few months have been a flurry of activity as we launched CatTipper and also took on some freelance work …plus the idea of turning on the oven when it has been 100 degrees nearly every day since early May is just not appealing.

We were very interested to review Bocce’s Bakery because of the high quality ingredients which go into the formation of these all-natural, organic dog biscuits.

Our dog’s favorite flavor was Beef Bourguinon. These biscuits are baked to be extra crunchy and they’re made with grass-fed,  antibiotic-free, hormone-free beef, carrots, and parsley. Irie and Tiki LOVED them! I loved that the crispiness of the biscuit helps clean your dog’s teeth and the fact that it’s also a lean treat with very little fat.

Irie and Tiki also loved Grandma’s Apple Pie, made with organic apples, clover honey, oat flour, yogurt, and cinnamon; and Fish and Chips, created with white fish, organic sweet potatoes, cage-free eggs, and oat flour. Other flavors that we didn’t try feature nitrate-free turkey bacon or organic peanut butter with no added sugar or salt. All the treats are wheat free with no chemicals or preservatives.

A big paws up for Bocce’s Bakery!

Price: $9.50 for a 5-ounce bag
