Product: Tees from Freaky Dog People

What It Is: cotton tees specially designed for stylish dog lovers

Manufacturer: Freaky Dog People, Inc. (California)

DogTipper Review: We know we could be classified as freaky dog people. (Hey, we moved from a career visiting and writing about Caribbean beach resorts to writing about our four-legged friends. That has to qualify.)

So when we were approached by a company named Freaky Dog People to review their apparel, we jumped at the chance. This California company designs clothing for dog lovers, both a unisex line and a women’s line. We received tees in both lines to try:

Love Line: The Love Line features women’s fitted tees, each of the six styles features a heart in the design. These tees are 100 percent cotton jersey and incredibly soft and lightweight. The tees are fitted (so consider ordering a size larger if you don’t want a fitted look). Here’s a look at Heart Paw design (in medium):

…and the Dog Heart design (in large):

Classic FDP Line: John tried the Classic FDP line (photo, top), a unisex tee that’s 100 percent organic cotton and designed for a looser fit. Like the women’s line, these unisex tees are incredibly soft and lightweight (perfect for our hot summers when even a regular weight tee can feel like it’s dragging you down.) The classic line tees feature the FDP Crest Logo.

Along with the cute designs and super soft fabrics, another thing we really like about Freaky Dog People is their mission “to contribute a portion of our profits to help dog rescue organizations, shelters, and canine assistance programs who give so much of their time, effort, and resources to help make the difference in the life of a dog.”

A big paws up for the cute tees from Freaky Dog People!

Price: Tees are priced at $28-$30.
