The rock band O.A.R. is heading to The Live Music Capital of the World to enrich the lives of homeless dogs and cats in Austin area animal shelters.
On February 8th the group’s Fido-and feline-loving fans can tap their feet to the beat of “Shattered,” “Love and Memories, “Peace” and other hits at a free Woofstock concert at the Austin venue The Roost. Music lovers can get tickets to the show by simply making a donation of items ranging from dog food, collars and toys for our barking buddies and cat carriers, pooper scoopers, food and playthings for our purring pals to supplies used daily by dedicated staff who care for companion animals in need. (A complete list of requested items can be found at the KGSR website).
Donations will be accepted at:
- The Williamson County Animal Shelter at 1855 S.E. Innerloop in Georgetown on January 31st from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.
- Austin Pets Alive! at 1156 West Cesar Chavez in Austin on February 7th from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.
When: The free Woofstock concert will take place on February 8, 2015, starting at 5 p.m.
