Best Friends Animal Society Pet Adoption Center Opened Its Doors Spring 2017

Along with offering dogs and cats a new “leash” on life at the Super Adoption weekend, Best Friends Animal Society Pet Adoption Center in New York has helped adoptables find their two-legged best friends since opening its doors in April 2017. Part of the renowned animal welfare organization’s ongoing effort to make the entire country no-kill by 2025, the New York branch of Best Friends is a safe haven for homeless animals who have come from one of nine local and regional nonprofit organizations, as well as the New York Animal Care Centers of NYC (ACC).

Taking care of the next generation of felines, the facility also features a round-the-clock neonatal nursery, where kittens who would lose their lives at many shelters due to their age will be bottle-fed.

Best Friends Animal Society New York is located at 307 West Broadway. To learn more about the pet adoption center and Best Friends’ mission to Save Them All, visit ny.bestfriends.org.
