Looking for a Dog-Friendly Hotel?

pet-friendly chain hotels

In writing our DogTipper’s Texas with Dogs book, we covered a lot of stand-alone hotels, bed and breakfasts, and one-of-a-kind properties. However, we also researched many large pet-friendly chain hotels. While these are some of our top picks in Texas, you’ll find most of these chains across the country, each putting out the welcome mat for your four-legged family members.

Policies at Pet-Friendly Chain Hotels

In general, most individual hotels have their own pet policies, even those properties within large hotel chains. (These policies do not apply to service animals.)

And these are hotels with dog-friendly policies; if you are also traveling with a cat, please check our CatTipper post on cat-friendly hotels. Not all hotels that accept dogs also accept cats.
