Let’s Make Today #ValentinesForDogs Day!

card

Saturday may be Valentine’s Day…but FRIDAY is Valentine’s for Dogs Day! Milk-Bone, Pup-Peroni, Milo’s Kitchen, and Canine Carry Outs are working to create this special day to recognize the love our four-legged family members give and receive on Valentine’s for Dogs Day, February 13!

Showing your dog your love doesn’t have to involve a lot of money! (Remember: never share or allow your dog to sample your Valentine’s chocolates, which are toxic to dogs.)

Here’s a list of easy ways you can celebrate #ValentinesforDogs Day on a budget, all while showing your dog just how much you love him!

Take a Longer Walk

It doesn’t cost a dime to enjoy a long dog walk with your dog!

Look in Your Dog’s Eyes

Everyone is so busy these days…but take time to just sit with your dog and look into his or her eyes (unless you have a shy dog who is made uncomfortable by a direct gaze). Talk to your dog and really enjoy the moment, not thinking about your schedule or all the things you need to do before the weekend. Just enjoy a few minutes being with your dog!

Play a Game

Whether your dog enjoys playing fetch or hide and seek, make time to play! The game can be as simple or complex as you and your dog like…the object is just to have fun!
