Lawrence Guy, defensive end for the Baltimore Ravens, is the latest animal-loving athlete to team up with a public service campaign that is doggedly devoted to defending our pals with paws.
Hoping that the public will make tackling the topic of animal abuse a number 1 priority, number 93 stepped in front of photographer Leo Howard Lubow’s camera with his MVPs (Most Valuable Pups), Bubbles, Chewy and Pinot for Show Your Soft Side. The photo series, which can be seen in ads and on billboards, draws focus on an initiative which strives to teach impressionable, at risk adolescents that compassion is the true measure of a man.
Further helping the paws cause, fans recently raised their glasses in appreciation as Lawrence Guy and a few of his fellow Softies (including Ravens teammates Eugene Monroe and Ryan Jensen) raised awareness of, and funds for, the Show Your Soft Side campaign by acting as bartenders at a fundraising event.

Lawrence Guy is just one of the many high-profile pals of those with paws who are hoping that the public will get in the game and help animals in need. Other stars who have shown their support for the Show Your Soft Side campaign include The Big Bang Theory‘s Kaley Cuoco, sports legend Boomer Esiason, Brandon Williams of the Baltimore Ravens, and Matt Wieters of the Baltimore Orioles.
