Jan. 29: The Week Ahead

It’s hard to believe we’re in the last few days of January…it seems like 2012 just began! It has been a really busy month here (and, except for some ice in the dogs’ “pool” a few mornings, almost hasn’t seemed like winter here.)

We’ve got some BIG things coming up this week:

Super Dog Sunday

Our big Super Dog Sunday photo contest and blog hop that we’re co-hosting with AllThingsDogBlog.com is coming up on Sunday! The countdown is on for kickoff for this event to benefit Petfinder Foundation!

Make Dogs Your Life

We are SO excited about this and we’ll be bringing you all the details tomorrow but here’s the short version: we’ll be taking the new Make Dogs Your Life course for dog trainers! The course is developed by Fernando Camacho, founder of FernDog Training, an AKC Certified Canine Good Citizen Evaluator, member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT), a Training Partner with Best Friends Animal Society and founder of the FernDog Rescue Foundation. We’ll be bringing you week-by-week updates as we progress through the three-month course starting with tomorrow’s introductory post…stay tuned!

VueZone

Last week we told you about our move to a new Internet service provider because of the problems with our satellite system; we’re happy to say we’re up and running and very happy with the new system! Our first big project with the new system was to review the VueZone remote video monitoring system (which wasn’t compatible with our satellite system) and we’ll be bringing you more about that this week (and stay tuned for a giveaway, too!!)

It’s going to be a busy week!
