The Hallmark Movie Channel is helping to make the season bright for fans of Fidos by unleashing a heart-warming howl-iday special as part of the network’s “Most Wonderful Movies of Christmas” event.
Based on novelist Greg Kincaid’s prequel to the best-seller A Dog Named Christmas (which was turned into a Hallmark movie in 2009), Christmas with Tucker tells the tale of a 12-year-old boy whose struggle to accept his father’s passing and his new living arrangements with his grandparents is eased with the help of a new four-legged friend.
Starring Emmy and Golden Globe winner James Brolin, actress Josie Bissett of Melrose Place and The Secret Life of the American Teenager fame, young actor Gage Munroe and a talented one-year old Golden Retriever named Nella in the title role, Christmas with Tucker premieres on the Hallmark Movie Channel on November 25, 2013 at 9 p.m. ET/8 p.m. CT.
