Commuters in the greater Philadelphia area are seeing signs of a better tomorrow for animals in need thanks to a series of digital billboards starring a doggedly devoted member of the Philadelphia Phillies and his four-pawed friend.
Through September 14, 2014 Clear Channel Outdoor is helping to promote The Pennsylvania SPCA’s “Enough is Enough” campaign– four ads which promote the option of pet adoption, vaccinations for companion animals and the need to end animal cruelty and stop pet overpopulation through spaying/neutering.
Having found his Pittie pal Jack at the Pennsylvania SPCA, Chase Utley and his barking buddy were happy to step up to the plate to shine a spotlight on paws causes by stepping in front of a camera. Long-time supporters of the renowned non-profit organization, the second baseman and his wife Jen (a PSPCA Board Member) recently stopped by PSPCA’s shelter on Erie Avenue to raise awareness of the new campaign, the Phillies’ 2014/2015 Pet Calendar, and his team’s upcoming September 8th Phillies Pet Calendar theme night, as well as raise the spirits of the canines and cats who are currently residing at the humane organization as they wait for the day when they become players on a home team of their very own.
