Castle Stars Promote Press Paws Campaign

BaA4zCRCUAAibmGThey share the small screen on the hit ABC series Castle, and now real life husband and wife Seamus and Juliana Dever are sharing snapshots of the canines who have starring roles in their hearts and home to raise awareness of Dogs Trust’s Press Paws campaign.

Marking the 35th anniversary of the charity’s famous “A Dog is for Life…not just for Christmas” slogan, through the #presspaws campaign Dogs Trust reminds potential pet parents to pause and ponder the level of commitment it takes to care for a canine companion before making a hasty decision this holiday season.

Other stars who have shown their support for the campaign include chart-topper Leona Lewis; Matt Henry (finalist on the second season of the BBC’s The Voice/Dogs Trust volunteer), and model Danielle O’Hara.

You can literally lend a hand to the largest dog welfare charity in the United Kingdom by taking to Twitter to post a photo of yourself and your barking buddy ‘pressing paws’, including the hashtag #presspaws and @DogsTrust. Your own photo and those of other dog devotees will be displayed on Dogs Trusts’ #presspaws Tumblr.
