Photographer Leo Howard Lubow captured the cuteness as the color commentator, who recently helped to shine a spotlight on the option of pet adoption by announcing he play-by-play of feline football stars during Kitten Bowl II, posed for Show Your Soft Side alongside rescued rover Krypto.
By helping the paws cause, Esiason has joined a long list of animal-loving athletes and A-list luminaries such as actress Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting, Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee, baseball player Matt Wieters and football stars Torrey Smith, Brendon Ayanbadejo and Brandon Williams–all of whom have shown their support for Show Your Soft Side. The initiative strives to demonstrate to impressionable adolescents who think that the mistreatment of animals is a mark of masculinity that kindness toward our four-legged friends is the true measure of a man.
