I’m on the “better late than never” plan this week; after three days of fever after our flight back from Orlando, I’m finally better…hooray! I’m back with part two of our photos from the Global Pet Expo trade show. Today: the many celebrities at the event.
Above, you’ll see Victoria Stilwell. The host of Animal Planet’s “It’s Me or the Dog” hosted a breakfast for women in the pet industry (and we’ll have some video from the breakfast to share soon, too!)
Several press conferences featured celebrities as well. Tiffani Thiessen of “White Collar” (or you’ll remember her from “Beverly Hills 90210”) spoke at a Sergeant’s press conference to explain the emBARK project (take a pledge at www.embarkonpethealth.com to be more mindful of your pet’s needs and Sergeant’s will donate a $50 care box through American Humane Association to be given out when a dog is adopted):
Cesar Millan held a press conference introducing his new dog treadmill, giving a demonstration with his dogs Junior and Coco:
I went to introduce myself to Junior and Coco (who wanted to come sit in my lap):
Later that afternoon, a press conference at the Thundershirt company (now Thunderworks) featured professional dog trainer Mikkel Becker and daughter of Dr. Marty Becker (her proud father was in the audience):
