Irie is tough on toys and can unstuff a plush animal in what has to be record-setting time. However, she has a set of Dr. Seuss dolls that she NEVER damages. I got the first one at the thrift store and it was such a success that I have to admit that I’ve now purchased four (each at the thrift store for $1!)
She cuddles with the dolls:
And sometimes she uses them as pillows:
They may take up a lot of room on the couch (almost as much as 70+ pound Irie) but the Grinch and his buddies are definitely a heart-warming (or heart-expanding) sight here in Who-ville!
In Who-ville they say
That the Grinch’s small heart
Grew three sizes that day!
