The weather is definitely changing this week, and the dogs can’t wait to go out on both their morning and evening walks. In the mornings, we usually walk in the woods but, in the evening (when I’m more worried that snakes are on the move), we head to the road. We’re lucky to live on a quiet caliche road so we can walk right down the middle of the road. Often we never see anyone on our 45-minute walk; sometimes we see some of our neighbors and the three other dogs that share our road, a very, very exciting time for Tiki and Irie. Tiki likes to stop and sit at the turnoffs for each house where she knows a dog lives…and wait for her buddies!
