Nikki Sixx, Courtney Bingham Help Dogs in Need

Screen Shot 2014-02-17 at 2.24.05 PMA heavy metal icon with a soft heart, Motley Crue member Nikki Sixx is helping dogs in need find a “Home Sweet Home.”

The bassist and his bride-to-be– How2girl.com’s Courtney Bingham– recently helped dogs from the San Bernardino animal shelter land permanent gigs with forever families, and now the pair of rocking romantics are inviting doggedly devoted party animals to The Parlour Room in Hollywood for a Models n Mutts fundraiser.

Hosted by Bingham (who is February’s featured model), fans of Fidos and famous faces can drink toasts to a brighter future for our four-legged friends as they mingle with the organization’s models.

A happening with heart, the event will benefit the National Brittany Rescue and Adoption Network, a non-profit alliance of volunteers in the U.S. and Canada who save, rehabilitate and re-home Brittanys who have been abandoned or relinquished.

Established in 2012 by Gina Hendrix, Models n Mutts is an organization which proves that pretty is as pretty does as models become role models by raising funds for various animal charities. Since its start, the East Valley Animal Shelter, Westside German Shepherd Rescue, Downtown Dog Rescue, GreySave and Karma Rescue are just a few of the non-profits that have benefited from Models n Mutts events.
