Celebrities Shine Spotlight on Adoptable Pets at NKLA Event

In the holiday classic It’s a Wonderful Life Zuzu states that “Every time a bell rings, an angel gets his wings,” and from May 3- 5 the ringing of a bell signified that a little fur angel found a loving pet parent at the NKLA adoption weekend.

Using their star wattage to shine a spotlight on the event, Moby; actress/The Pet Matchmaker founder Elaine Hendrix; Blue Bloods star Will Estes and Castle cast member Seamus Dever (who stepped in front of the camera to promote Best Friends Animal Society’s Invisible Dogs campaign) were among the animal lovers who showed support for the adorable adoptables.

NKLA reports that 411 companion animals landed starring roles in the lives of forever families at the event!
