Amanda Seyfried Promotes Save Them All Campaign

Amanda-Seyfried-Finn She’s starred as a bride-to-be in the silver screen adaptation of the stage musical Mamma Mia! and as Cosette in the cinematic retelling of Victor Hugo’s classic Les Misérables, but when she’s not on a movie set actress Amanda Seyfried steps into the real life role that’s close to her heart– that of a loving pet parent to her four-pawed pal, Finn.

A celebrity in his own right, Finn– a tail-wagger with 13,000 Twitter followers who has been seen lapping up the limelight when appearing with his movie star Mom on talk shows like The Late Show with David Letterman— struck a pose with Seyfried for Best Friends Animal Society’s Save Them All photo campaign, using their combined star wattage to help shine a spotlight on the option of pet adoption.

“My dog, Finn, is my best friends. I honestly can’t remember what life was like before he came into mine,” Seyfried stated. “I can’t bear to imagine the thousands of incredible dogs and cats that are killed in shelters every single day simply because they don’t have homes. When you adopt, you not only save a life, but you end up with an amazing friend. Please adopt your next pet from a shelter or a rescue group. By working together we can Save Them All.”

Amanda Seyfried is one of the many famous faces who have been photographed with their rescued canine of cat companions for Best Friends Animal Society’s Save Them All campaign, which strives to drive the public’s attention to the need to end the euthanization of more than 9,000 companion animals each day in shelters across America. Previous animal-loving luminaries who have shown their support for the paws cause include game show host Todd Newton, Nils Lofgren of The E Street Band, Dancing with the Stars judge Carrie Ann Inaba and Indy Car Series driver Josef Newgarden.

Now in its third decade of dogged devotion to pets in need, Best Friends Animal Society is a leading force in the no-kill movement, playing a vital role in reducing the number of dogs and cats whose lives end in the shelter system each year from 17 million to 4 million.
