Amanda Holden Shows Support for Celebrity Trip to Help Romanian Dogs

Amanda Holden meets WetnoseCelebrities who have been filmed for appearances on the silver and small screens will soon step in front of the camera to document the horror and heartbreak of homeless dogs who are losing their lives in Romania due to a cull on strays…and to shine a spotlight on the hope of a compassionate community of animal lovers who are helping to save the dogs from their fate.

Embarking on a four-day mission of mercy filled with visits to private and non-private shelters, discussions with vets and press conferences, Wetnose Animal Aid and Norton Animal Rescue will be joined by Downton Abbey star Peter Egan; former Emmerdale cast member Lorraine Chase; TV presenter Wendy Turner Webster; pop culture icon Samantha Fox and Republica lead singer Saffron (who together will perform a concert for the paws cause); actress/Natural History Presenter Anneka Svenska, model/animal rights activist Victoria Eisermann and singer/songwriter Pola Pospieszalska of K9-Angels and Sara Turetta from Save the Dogs and Other Animals. The trip will be chronicled by Peter Fison, the director of SWLTV, with a mini-documentary to be made for TV and website use.
