The daughter of silver screen star Clint Eastwood has made everyone’s day by helping to save the lives of companion animals at a Southern California shelter.
Actress Alison Eastwood, who recently starred in the Nat Geo Wild series Animal Intervention, has stepped into her role as the founder of the Eastwood Ranch Foundation to partner with PAWS For Hope and Faith for “No Pet Left Behind” shelter pardon event.
“No Pet Left Behind”, which began on February 4, 2014 and continues through February 8th, protects the hundreds of adoptable canine and cats currently residing at the overcrowded San Bernardino Animal Shelter from facing their fate over the course of the five-day period as PAWS for Hope and Faith– a non-profit which has held similar shelter pardons in Alabama, Florida and Georgia– strives to find forever homes for each animal in need.
Potential pet parents are invited to meet possible additions to their fur families at the San Bernardino City Animal Shelter at 333 Chandler Place in San Bernardino, California from 10 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. The pets’ $55 adoption fee includes a microchip, Bordella and 5 in 1 vaccinations.
Offering adopters further encouragement, The Lucy Pet Foundation will provide on-site low cost spaying and neutering for any of the shelter’s animals who adopted during the event.
The Eastwood Ranch Foundation offers a helping hand to abuse and neglected animals by providing financial assistance for no-kill shelters, rescue organizations and animal sanctuaries.
