A star of the Twilight film franchise, actress Nikki Reed is helping to take a bite out of pet homelessness, animal cruelty and other urgent animal welfare issues through sales of limited edition pet accessories designed by the star.
Through noon on October 6. 2014, fans of famous faces and fashion forward items for Fidos can purchase the “Found My Animal” Nikki dog leash and Nikki dog collar exclusively at Gilt.com, with all of the proceeds benefiting the ASPCA.
Created by FoundMyAnimal.com, the dog leash (which is available for $62) and dog collar (which sells for $56) are made of marine-grade rope, leather and brass hardware and features an individually numbered tag emblazoned with the word “Found.”
In addition, the actress has also curated a sale of pet products, with 10 percent of the sales revenue also to be contributed to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals’ ongoing mission to save the lives of our four-legged friends. Among the items which will help the paws cause are a variety of pet toys, dog biscuit tins, pet bowls, pet beds and stylish canine coats, parkas and raincoats.
