A Traveling Pug Visits Wag Hotel in San Francisco

In the final installment of the “Fido Gets Frisky in Frisco” series, canine correspondent Phoebe Rose and her Mom, Sheila Appleby Williams from A Traveling Pug, checks out what puppy patrons will enjoy when they check in to the Wag Hotel in San Francisco:

If you’re planning a night on the town, weekend getaway (sans canine companion) or just want an afternoon to yourself–look no further. This could very well be the ultimate doggie hotel in California- daytime playgroups-grouped according to sociability and size, yappy hour (canine wine and cheese crackers) spectacular junior and large deluxe suites with premium bedding, web camera and flat screen TV.

We toured the Wag and were dazzled by the spacious pristine interior design and quality staff. The rooftop play deck hosts swimming parties and monthly events and has spectacular city views. Front desk personnel “check-in” canine guests and offer assorted activities including buddy time, morning and evening strolls, souvenir play snapshots, private swim sessions and deluxe treats including canine ice cream sundaes. Cats welcome and all canine breeds and sizes accepted. Full grooming services available. Open 365 days a year-24 hour check-in/check-out.

Nightly rates vary according to size of pet and accommodations (from $48-$90) and all day play groups $40.
