What’s New: Theo Eskimo Coat

Recently we received a new coat for either Irie or Tiki…the Theo Eskimo Coat. The coat is super cute AND super warm, something we’ve been needing during this colder than usual winter.

The Theo Eskimo Coat features an exterior shell that’s both wind and water-resistant. Its PU (artificial leather) coating keeps away water and snow while the long sleeves actually protect your dog’s front legs on icy walks.

Just below the hood, you’ll find an opening for attaching your dog’s leash. The removable hood features faux fur (yes, we doublechecked to make sure the obviously faux fur was faux by burning a small clipping). The hood snaps to the coat; the coat also closes around your dog’s chest with snaps. Theo provides additional snaps in case one should need to be replaced:

As you can see in the above photo, the coat is lined with anti-tangling fabric, especially important for long-haired breeds. The entire coat is insulated for the coldest winter days.

Along with the snaps for keeping ice and snow away from your dog’s body, the coat is also secured with a drawstring at the hood and at the waist:

Available in seven sizes from XS – 3XL, the coat is also available in several colors: black, pink, pink camo, green camo, and khaki.

Unfortunately the 3XL wouldn’t fit Tiki or Irie (it’s sized for about a border collie body), but we know that one lucky dog at our local shelter will be staying warm in the remaining winter months thanks to this coat donation!
