Seamlessly weaving together fashion with compassion, Project Runway season 11 finalist Daniel Esquivel will help to design a better future for pets in need of medical attention as he showcases styles from his latest collection at a benefit marking the launch of Animal Trustees of Austin’s Power of the Paw campaign.
An Honorary Chairman of the organization’s initiative, Esquivel states: “My dogs are the loves of my life–Like my fashions! For me to share my talents with Animal Trustees to help generate funds touches my heart. Being part of building a sustainable fund to provide access to affordable veterinary care for all is an amazing opportunity! I hope you all will join me!”
Taking place June 21st, the elegant evening will also include a special guest appearance by designer/photographer bensen, pet selfies, and the chance for attendees to drink toasts to our furry friends from glasses filled with Vodka Cat Tails provided by Tito’s Vodka.
A non-profit which has provided affordable and compassionate care for ill and injured companion animals in the Central Texas area for the past 20 years regardless of a pet parent’s financial situation, funds from the event will help Animal Trustees of Austin acquire medial equipment for the organization’s wellness and spay/neuter clinics.
