Greta Van Susteren Honorary Chair of Fashion for Paws

She discusses the day’s hot topics on her popular program On the Record w/ Greta Van Susteren, and now the Fox News Channel host is the talk of the town for helping out a paws cause.

A parent to multiple pets, Greta Van Susteren is acting as the honorary chair of the Washington Humane Society’s 8th annual Fashion for Paws fundraiser.

Taking place at the Omni Shoreham Hotel in Washington, DC, style-savvy Spots will strike a pose on the dog walk, escorted on the runway by compassionate participants who each raised a minimum of $5,000 over the course of a 10-week period to help homeless pets in the area.

Always a popular presentation among high-profile pals to those with paws, at the 2012 event one lucky little couture-conscious canine was adopted by pop culture icon Marie Osmond.

Since its start in 2007, Fashion for Paws has raised close to $3 million for the only Congressionally-chartered animal welfare agency in America, the Washington Humane Society, which annually provides comfort and care for approximately 43,000 companion animals.

Note: Cocktail attire required; This is a human-only event. General admission ticket sales closes at noon on April 11th.
