Helping to tackle the topic of dog discrimination, Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Torrey Smith and his wife Chanel– who are the proud pet parents of rescued Pit Bulls Prince and Mama– were happy to show their support for an upcoming rally for the sake of Rovers who are dogged by people’s prejudice.
Taking place on May 3rd, the One Million Pibble March on Washington DC (a human-only event) is the creation of comedian/Stand Up for Pits Foundation president Rebecca Corry, who was inspired to take a stand against BSL when she welcomed Angel–a Pit Bull who had suffered horrible abuse– into her heart and home.
Regardless of whether you will be in DC for the march, you can help to take steps toward a brighter tomorrow for Pit Bull-type dogs with the purchase of the event’s t-shirt. One hundred percent of the proceeds from the sale (after cost) of the $25 limited edition tees will go toward funding the rally at the US Capital.
