Run, Spot, Run!
Blanco State Park. If you visited Blanco State Park in previous years, you may have been discouraged because dogs were not allowed in the river. Well, that has now changed! Your dog is allowed in the Blanco River as long as he’s on leash. You’ll find plenty of other divisions in this park as well including trails, a picnic area, and campground. The 104-acre park is conveniently located just off US 281. Info: 101 Park Rd. 23; (830) 833-4333; www.tpwd.state.tx.us. Fee.
