OWN Unleashes The Diamond Collar January 17th

On January 17th Oprah Winfrey’s OWN network will unleash The Diamond Collar, a new reality series starring a former street enforcer who is now a force for good, celebrating his second chance at life by giving a new lease on life to our four-legged friends in need.

Once a hardened criminal, a glimpse at the harsh reality of a stray dog’s existance softened the heart of James “Head” Guiliani, who today is a treasured animal advocate working alongside his long-time love Lena Perrelli to not only pamper pups at his popular Brooklyn dog grooming parlor The Diamond Collar, but also save the lives of the borough’s abused and abandoned animals.

Over the course of the series viewers will get a behind the scenes look as Guiliani and Perrelli cater to their canine clientele, struggle to pay the bills, care for the members of their fur family and embark on missions of mercy.

The Diamond Collar premieres on OWN network on January 17, 2014 at 10 p.m. ET/PT.
