As Dr. Lisa Cuddy on the Fox series House she saved lives through her position as Dean of Medicine, and now through her real life role as an animal advocate actress Lisa Edelstein is shining a spotlight on a renowned animal welfare organization’s efforts to Save Them All™.
A Best Friends Acclaimed Ambassador, the actress has followed in the footsteps of such other famous fans of Fidos and felines as True Blood star Kristin Bauer and singer Neko Case by stepping in front of the camera to educate the public about the need to help homeless animals, who are losing their lives in kill shelters across the country at the rate of 9,000 each day.
Striving to change the statistics, Best Friends asks animal lovers to join their call to action by spreading the word through social media; volunteering; making adoption the only option when choosing a new furry family member, and by making a donation to help Save Them All™.

In the Lisa Edelstein-narrated video animal lovers are introduced to Alfie, one of the many dogs and cats who have been granted a new lease on life thanks to Best Friends Animal Society. Contracting both Distemper and Parvo as a puppy, Alfie could have been considered a lost cause, but determination, patience and love can lead to a happily ever after.
