Once again shining a spotlight on adorable adoptables, ITV will unleash the second season of Paul O’Grady: For the Love of Dogs on May 9th.
A Fido-centric phenomenon watched by more than four million doggedly devoted UK television viewers when the original seven-part series debuted in 2012, Paul O’Grady: For the Love of Dogs is a BAFTA-nominated series which showcases a few of the 6,000 resident Rovers cared for each year by Battersea Dogs and Cats Home.
In episode one the comedic canine enthusiast (a proud pet parent of a Battersea puppy) forms a bond with a Bulldog who suffers from a mystery ailment; meets a big dog with a big heart– as well as a huge odor problem, and cuddles with a cute litter of fur babies who are enjoying puppyhood thanks to Battersea staff.
The new season of Paul O’Grady: For the Love of Dogs premieres May 9, 2013 at 8:30 p.m. on ITV.
