Review: Salvador Kitti Gifts

With a name like Salvador Kitti and a tagline of “Eat, Paint, Meow”™, you might think Salvador Kitti primarily offers gifts for cat lovers. But you’d be wrong.

Whether you’re looking for an animal gift for yourself or for a fellow animal lover, Salvador Kitti offers gifts for dog and cat lovers plus many items for those looking for a representation of something a little wilder, say a tiger or dolphin.

The brainchild of Atlanta artist Amy Pugh-Campos, Salvador Kitti features artwork that’s been transformed into accessories including cosmetics bags, messenger bags, holiday ornaments, and more. According to Pugh-Campos, “I began my art career early.  I was sketching my stuffed animals before I could talk.  I followed my gift all through high school and on the first day of class at Georgia State my world changed by the unexpected death of my father.  I took this time to explore all avenues of artful expression and fell in love with the free spirit of art.  I chose to avoid the conventional ways of studying art and approached my gifts on my own terms. These heart felt emotions coupled with an innate curiosity of animals has created the artist I am today.”

We received a cosmetics bag with the image of “Salvador’s Reflection“. The image, taken from the artist’s original oil painting, is beautiful printed on the water-resistant microfiber and features foam padding, polyester lining, and two interior slip pockets. The bag also features a heart-shaped zipper pull.

The green company donates a percentage of all sales to wildlife conservation.

Salvador Kitti makes a great gift for yourself or another nature lover!
