Here at DogTipper, we receive so many great photos of the dogs of our readers in colorful clothes, costumes, and coats. Try as we might, we cannot get our dogs to wear clothes and costumes any longer than it takes for a quick (and I mean QUICK) photo.
But recently we decided that we could dress up our dogs by changing out their collars. No more boring, one-color collars!
And they love it! Changing collars is a fun way to give your dog a new look for the season or just for a change of look. We recently received a review collar from Dishlickers Design, an Australia-based company that’s known for their colorful, stylish collars like the batik design (US$19-25) on our Irie, above. Here’s a closeup of this intricate design:
Dishlickers Designs’ Flea Taxi Collars are machine washable, perfect for tossing in the washer each time you bathe your dog (and inexpensive enough to change out regularly with a mini wardrobe of collars.)
Here’s a look at some of the other varied and colorful designs available:
You can match the collars to your dog’s personality…whether that’s wild…
…a little bit groovy with some Sixties style…
…or creative with some beautiful Aboriginal designs created by Aboriginal artists…
A big paws up for Flea Taxi collars by Dishlickers Design…no more boring collars!
