Ian Somerhalder may portray reanimated rogue Damon Salvatore on The Vampire Diaries, but in real life the CW star is concerned with taking a bite out of the plight of homeless pets. A native of Louisiana, the actor will return to his roots on November 13, 2010 for Unleashed “Bash on the Bayou,” in support of St. Tammany Humane Society, the state’s largest no-kill animal shelter.
A Cajun-themed soiree for the sake of dogs and cats, Rover-loving revelers will move their feet to the beat of three live bands, sip on beverages at an open bar, nosh on cuisine catered by upscale New Orleans area eateries and bid on items in a silent auction.
When: November 13, 2010 from 7pm – 11pm.
Where: Castine Center in Mandeville, Louisiana.
Fans who are unable to attend may not get to see their favorite star in person, but they can receive an autographed photo of Ian Somerhalder by making a donation of $50 or more to St. Tammany Humane Society!
