60 Dogs Find Forever Homes at MuttNation Foundation Adoption Drive


Making great strides for a better tomorrow for companion animals in need with every step, a pack of 1,000 pink-clad dog lovers from all walks of life, among them Nashville Mayor Megan Barry and country music superstar Miranda Lambert, promenaded with 120 pups in the MuttNation March. The event raised heart rates as it raised awareness of an adoption drive that helped homeless dogs race right into the hearts of forever pet parents.

Starting from Nissan Stadium, the canine-themed constitutional continued over the Nashville Pedestrian Bridge to the Chevrolet Walk of Fame Park to kick off the MuttNation Foundation Adoption Drive, which ran from June 8 – 11th. At the stroll’s stopping point the multi-platinum-selling recording artist with a heart of gold joined Storme Warren, the host of SiriusXM’s The Highway, to further shine a spotlight on the paws cause.

“I am so grateful that all these amazing dogs found their forever homes,” the singer stated. “Marching with so many amazing fans and fellow animal lovers was really a highlight of CMA Fest for me.”

A total of 60 adoptable dogs from MuttNation Foundation (30 of whom had joined the canine-loving crowd for the MuttNation March) had the chance to attend the adoption drive at CMA Fan Fair X, and the news that every one landed a permanent gig with their very own special someone has put a song in the hearts of animal lovers.

Mixing fun with philanthropy, the event also included a “Puppy Corral” where prospective pet parents could bond with some new barking buddies; a photo booth and the MuttNation mobile adoption unit.

MuttNation Shelter Day Sweepstakes

Fans of country music and canines who were unable to make it to the Music City event can still help Miranda Lambert’s ongoing efforts to help dogs in need through the MuttNation Shelter Day Sweepstakes. Animal lovers who enter will have the chance to win a day with the “Automatic” singer as she works on an animal shelter makeover. Fans are rewarded at higher donation levels with unique incentives, such as exclusive merchandise meet and greets, and more. The MuttNation Shelter Day Sweepstakes runs through June 19th.
