This week promised to be a super busy week…and I already feel a little like I’m wading through a pile of work…a little like all the wading Irie enjoyed on most recent book research trip on Friday! This week we’re preparing for Wednesday’s #PetBrandChat, Friday’s set up for Houston Pet Expo and Saturday’s expo at Reliant Center which promises to be great!
So, instead of thinking of all the work ahead, I wanted to bring you some more photos from our excursion along the Highland Lakes chain in the Texas Hill Country. We had the chance to check out some great bluebonnet fields…
…Irie checked out her first freshwater mussel shells…
The red dirt in these photos isn’t dirt at all…it’s actually crushed granite!
Huge boulders dot the area, like these ones near the dog-friendly cabins at Black Rock Park:
Irie and Tiki had a great time!
