A calendar which celebrates a silver screen icon is offering fans of Fidos, felines and famous faces a golden opportunity to enjoy images from Hollywood’s past while helping to create a better future for our four-legged friends in need.
Produced by the British fan site Discovering Doris, which has raised more than $27,000 U.S. dollars over the years for the animal-loving luminary’s animal welfare organization, the 2015 Doris Day Wall Calendar contains 13 classic color and black and white photos of the entertainment icon, with the calendar’s cheerful cover personally chosen by the high-profile pal to those with paws.
As with Discovering Doris‘s previous fundraising calendars, the limited edition keepsake will benefit the Doris Day Animal Foundation, which was established by the acclaimed actress/singer and animal advocate in 1978 and today offers grants to aid paws causes across the country.
The 2015 Doris Day Wall Calendar is available for pre-order for $29.99 for those in the U.S. and £14.99 for U.K. orders. (Note: The first 250 fans who show their not-so “Secret Love” for the star by placing an order will receive a FREE bonus 6″X4″ photo of Doris Day.)
