Are you looking for holidays that recognize the special role that dogs and cats play in our lives? You’ve come to the right place. We’ve got an extensive calendar of pet holidays updated throughout the year.
Along with fun holidays that celebrate the joy our pets bring us, this list also showcases serious pet awareness days, weeks and months that focus attention on challenges in the pet world.
Please note: pet holidays are generally set by private groups–and sometimes more than one group decides to declare an “official” holiday for the same event. More holidays mean more reasons to celebrate the pets we all hold so dear!
